Role Overview
Define and govern enterprise architecture for computing and infrastructure platforms across on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, HPC, and AI environments.
Architecture and Governance
- Own enterprise architecture for computing platforms.
- Define target and reference architectures, technology standards, principles, and design patterns.
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business and enterprise architecture objectives.
- Provide architecture leadership for major programs, transformation initiatives, and complex solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical governance throughout the solution lifecycle.
Technology Strategy
- Evaluate and recommend infrastructure, cloud, computing, virtualization, containerization, HPC, and AI technologies.
- Establish standards for scalability, availability, performance, security, resilience, interoperability, and cost optimization.
- Ensure solution architectures align with enterprise architecture and strategic direction.
- Develop transition architectures and migration strategies from current-state environments to target states.
- Define cloud adoption, hybrid cloud, workload placement, and infrastructure modernization strategies.
Cross-Domain Collaboration
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, data, applications, networking, operations, and other architecture domains to ensure integrated enterprise solutions.
- Guide high-performance and AI computing platforms, including compute capacity, scalability, and integration requirements.
- Assess technology risks, technical debt, architectural dependencies, and modernization opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience working across on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, HPC, and AI infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, computing, virtualization, containerization, HPC, and AI technologies.
- Ability to design architectures for scalability, availability, performance, security, resilience, interoperability, and cost optimization.
- Ability to assess current-state environments and develop transition architectures and migration strategies.
- Ability to collaborate across cybersecurity, data, applications, networking, operations, and architecture domains.
- Knowledge of compute capacity, scalability, and integration requirements for high-performance and AI computing platforms.
