About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced, customer facing Enterprise Architect with deep Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS R12 Techno Functional expertise to lead complex implementation and integration engagements.
  • This role sits within our Professional Services organization and serves as the primary technical and functional bridge between customers and internal delivery teams.
  • You will operate at an enterprise architect level, guiding customers through end to end integration of their Oracle environments with ONESOURCE and Pagero E Invoicing solutions.
  • This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports, requiring autonomy and deep Oracle domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Oracle subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers, leading discovery, scoping, and solution design sessions across Indirect Tax and E Invoicing engagements.
  • Assess customer's Oracle Fusion Cloud or EBS R12 landscape, covering modules such as AP, AR, GL, Procurement, and Order Management, and map P2P and O2C processes.
  • Provide enterprise architect level guidance on integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination and Pagero E Invoicing solutions.
  • Advise customers on Oracle integration architecture options including REST/SOAP APIs, OIC, SFTP, HTTPS, and middleware based approaches.
  • Lead technical discussions on Oracle data structures, data formats, and key data requirements with customer IT and ERP teams.
  • Explain Oracle Fusion Tax (EBTax), indirect tax flows, and country specific e invoicing compliance requirements.
  • Guide customers on Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 technical components including SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, Functions, APIs, and integration touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with customer IT teams on integration architecture, technical prerequisites, security considerations, and go live readiness.

Solutioning & Pre Sales

  • Engage actively in pre sales pursuits as the primary Oracle technical and functional authority, leading solution presentations, product demonstrations, and technical deep dives.
  • Own the end to end solutioning process for Oracle related opportunities: translating customer requirements into solution architectures, integration approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Develop and present compelling solution proposals to both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to shape responses to RFPs, RFIs, and competitive bids.
  • Conduct customer discovery workshops during pre sales to identify integration complexity, technical risks, and solution fit.
  • Build and maintain reusable pre sales assets including solution blueprints, reference architectures, and demo environments.

Pricing & Effort Estimation

  • Lead effort estimation and scoping for Oracle integration engagements, producing detailed work breakdown structures and resource plans.
  • Define engagement scope boundaries clearly, identifying in scope and out of scope activities.
  • Translate solution designs into costed delivery models, working with Practice and Commercial leadership.
  • Identify and document delivery assumptions, dependencies, and risk factors.
  • Continuously refine estimation models based on delivery outcomes.

Subject Matter Expertise & Practice Contribution

  • Act as internal Oracle SME on integration patterns, indirect tax implementation, and e invoicing compliance across Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12.
  • Contribute to development of delivery frameworks, reusable solution templates, and best practices.
  • Stay current with latest Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 functionalities, patches, and industry best practices.
  • Stay informed about evolving global tax regulations and their impact on Oracle ERP environments.
  • Provide informal mentoring and knowledge sharing to less experienced consultants.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
  • 10+ years hands on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS R12 end to end implementation projects with strong focus on Techno Functional delivery across AP, AR, GL, P2P, and O2C cycles.
  • Demonstrated enterprise architect level expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS R12.
  • Strong technical skills: SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, Functions, Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, BIP Reports, FBDI, HDL, Web Services, Interfaces, APIs, Concurrent Programs, Workflows.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Tax (EBTax) and indirect tax implementation (VAT, GST, Withholding Tax).
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 architecture including P2P and O2C cycle configurations.
  • Solid experience integrating Oracle ERP with external third party platforms.
  • Working knowledge of integration technologies and data formats: APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, XML, JSON, CSV, EDI.
  • Proven experience in pre sales solutioning including customer facing presentations, scoping workshops, and RFP responses.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce detailed effort estimates, work breakdown structures, and commercial proposals.
  • Strong client facing communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery governance, project artifacts, and stakeholder communications autonomously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 with external Indirect Tax determination software such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, or Avalara, or E Invoicing software like Pagero.
  • Prior experience with e invoicing implementations, tax compliance, or regulatory reporting programs involving Oracle ERP.
  • Understanding of international and regional tax regulations and e invoicing mandates across multiple geographies.
  • Oracle certification in Financials, Integration Cloud, or related modules.
  • Experience working with global customers and distributed stakeholders across time zones.
  • Experience shaping strategic direction of client's ERP and compliance landscape.
  • Familiarity with commercial constructs such as T&M, fixed price, and milestone based engagement models.
