- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to construct masonry structures
- Select, cut, and shape various materials including brick, concrete blocks, and natural stone
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, and other bonding materials
- Ensure proper alignment, level, and plumb of masonry work
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and workflows
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve masonry related issues on site
- Mentor and guide junior masons and apprentices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry or related field preferred
- 3 5 years of experience in masonry work, with focus on large scale construction projects
- Proficiency in various masonry techniques and materials
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks
- Knowledge of construction safety practices; OSHA safety certification preferred
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi

Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Engineering Mason to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- You will play a crucial role in executing complex masonry work on large scale construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
