Job Description
- Design and deliver engaging group fitness classes tailored to various fitness levels and modalities (strength training, cardio, flexibility, functional fitness, etc.).
- Assess individual member fitness levels, goals, and limitations to create customized workout programs and modifications.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and form to ensure member safety and maximize workout effectiveness.
- Provide motivational coaching and constructive feedback to help members stay committed to their fitness objectives.
- Monitor member progress and adjust programs accordingly to ensure continued improvement and goal achievement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment with properly functioning equipment.
- Educate members on proper equipment usage, gym policies, and safety protocols.
- Build strong relationships with members through excellent customer service and personalized attention.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate class schedules, special events, and member engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of member progress, attendance, and program modifications.
- Stay current with fitness trends, industry best practices, and continuing education opportunities.
- Respond professionally to member inquiries and concerns with empathy and transparency.
Qualifications
- Cooperate and comply with Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in regards to OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, environment and others at work.
- Do not adversely interfere with anything provided for OSH.
- Do not interfere adversely with anything in place to control OSH risks.
- Cooperate with organization with respect to actions and or action taken to protect the employee/ OSH requirements.
- Follow OSHMS procedures as applicable.
- Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and take part in OSH consultative OSH requirements.
- Report all near miss/ hazard/ unsafe/ conditions or act.
- Use appropriate PPE and safety systems.
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis.
- Maintain all OSHMS records as required by the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.
Accountability
- Held accountable and committed whatever it takes to comply with the company’s OSHMS Policies, OSHMS Procedure, & Operational Works Instruction and any other relevant legislation applies within the organization.
- Held accountable to take care of his own health and safety, other person in the workplace that may be affected by their acts or omission at work.
