Engagement Director — Unified Data Platform Program

Role Purpose

Location

• The role is based in Dubai, UAE.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
• 15+ years of total experience, including 8+ years leading large-scale data or digital transformation programs at engagement or program-director level.
• Demonstrated delivery of enterprise data platform or lakehouse programs using platforms such as Databricks, Dremio, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Direct UAE or GCC public-sector transformation exposure and knowledge of DDA, Dubai Pulse, and data classification requirements are strongly preferred.
• Track record managing multi-million-dirham, multi-year contracts and multi-vendor delivery ecosystems.
• Strong executive presence, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including with government entities.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program leadership certification is preferred; TOGAF familiarity is a plus.
• English fluency is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
• Current UAE work eligibility or market availability is strongly preferred; an existing UAE public-sector network is an advantage.

Success Metrics

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and value realization of the Unified Data Platform program.
• Act as the single point of accountability to the client sponsor and steering committee.
• Manage program scope, schedule, budget, quality, regulatory alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Provide executive oversight of the Technical Project Manager and all workstream leads.
• Drive on-time, on-budget, and in-scope program delivery.
• Achieve formal compliance and regulatory sign-off milestones.
• Manage client satisfaction and steering committee confidence.
• Oversee contract margin and commercial performance.
• Support team retention and capability development.
