How You Will Make an Impact
- Define and implement the IT security strategy within the assigned scope.
- Lead strategies for significant areas of responsibility and integrate them with broader corporate strategy.
- Provide specialist advice to leadership on policy implementation, projects, and change initiatives.
- Manage area budgets in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and guidelines for significant areas of responsibility.
- Build partnering relationships with senior executives and provide advice supporting business strategy.
- Contribute functional expertise and ideas to corporate strategy formation.
- Develop annual business plans, expense and headcount budgets, and business cases for key projects.
- Communicate functional strategy, clarify required actions, and motivate people to achieve business goals.
- Manage functional performance, set objectives for direct reports, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Define organizational structures, relationships, and responsibilities for a business area.
- Identify capability gaps, prioritize development activities, represent the organization in professional forums, and prepare presentations.
