**Shifts:** Mon-Fri 7am-4pm UAE time zone
What You Will Do
Our EAP Counsellors engage with participants over the phone, video, chat & email all while demonstrating what we call: The Power of a Good Conversation – creating a connection with the client to ensure they feel heard, supported, and cared for.
It’s difficult to define an “average day” for our counsellors, as every caller brings a unique set of experiences and challenges.
Through thoughtful clinical conversations, our counsellors support each individual in exploring their situation and finding a path forward.

If you are a mental health provider that wants to provide emotional support with a warm and empathic approach to people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds from around the world, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Provide single session telephonic and video counselling, in-the-moment support and crisis telephonic management in a supportive, ethical and professional manner while maintaining client-confidentiality.
- Assess clients thoroughly to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling.
- Assess and manage high risk calls and working closely with individuals at risk.
- Appropriately refer clients to external resources or within WPO as part of our holistic approach.
- Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in case management system.
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support, acting as a key point of contact to assist clients and providers with service-related enquiries and issue resolution.
- Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management
- **Qualifications/Skills:*** Must hold a Master’s degree in clinical psychology or related field.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Experience in solution focused counselling.
- Excellent IT and administration skills.
- Experience of working within a service centre environment would be advantageous.
- Experience working for an organisation with listening/counselling/support services would also be an advantage.
- At least 1-year post-Master’s counseling experience.
