Prepare U.S. tax and tax accounting work for multiple legal entities within a multinational financial services environment.
Support the Tax Manager with U.S. corporate tax requirements, tax authority matters, and ad hoc activities.
What you’ll do
- Prepare U.S. federal, state, and local tax estimates, extensions, returns, and supporting workpapers.
- Produce tax accounting calculations and documentation in accordance with ASC 740.
- Gather, analyze, and validate data from internal systems for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct tax research and support responses to tax authority queries and deficiency notices.
- Assist the Tax Manager with ad hoc activities and wider U.S. corporate tax requirements.
- Follow standard processes while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
What you bring
- Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA, or CA accountant.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax regulations is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with international colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
- Self-motivated team player able to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
