Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Workday Time and Absence Analyst to join our team.

This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organization's time tracking processes within the Workday system globally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday's time tracking and absence functionality, along with the ability to work with key HR stakeholders in understanding and defining requirements to deliver outcomes in the time tracking and absence space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, configuration, and maintenance of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Modules with minimal oversight, serving as the primary technical authority for these systems - additional Workday module experience/expertise is a plus
  • Design, implement, and optimize time tracking and absence policies and procedures aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps for time and absence functionality, identifying enhancement opportunities and prioritizing initiatives based on business value and technical feasibility
  • Work independently to scope projects, build comprehensive timelines, and manage deliverables from conception through implementation
  • Provide expert-level system support and troubleshooting for complex time-related issues, escalating only when necessary
  • Generate, analyze, and present reporting insights related to time and absence to drive data-informed decision-making
  • Proactively monitor Workday functionality, updates, and new features related to time and absence, assessing impact and recommending adoption strategies
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for time tracking processes, system configurations, and business rules
  • Identify, propose, and implement process improvements that enhance user experience, increase efficiency, or mitigate risk
  • Mentor junior team members and serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges
