Position Overview

  • The Associate Director of Project Management leads the delivery of complex real estate projects, overseeing project teams and ensuring successful execution from initiation through completion.
  • This role combines strategic leadership with hands on project oversight, managing multiple high value initiatives while developing junior staff and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies for large scale initiatives.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking costs and forecasting financial performance.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for key client accounts, building and maintaining strategic relationships.
  • Lead client presentations, status meetings, and executive briefings.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and account growth.
  • Supervise and mentor Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, and Coordinators.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and provide coaching.
  • Contribute to departmental strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading complex real estate projects.
  • Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Team leadership and mentoring skills.
