Role Overview
- The Digital & Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and optimising the organisation’s digital presence across all online platforms, ensuring effective content distribution, audience engagement, and performance tracking.
- The role focuses on owning and maintaining publishing platforms, ensuring content is visible, engaging, and aligned with business and communication objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Uphold company values across all digital platforms and communications
- Manage day to day social media platforms (posting, scheduling, engagement)
- Ensure consistent and timely publication of content across all channels
- Monitor and respond to audience interactions where required
- Coordinate content publishing across website, intranet, and social platforms
- Ensure all content is live, accurate, and aligned with brand and messaging standards
- Maintain and optimise digital platforms for usability and performance
- Monitor performance analytics and provide insights/reporting
- Analyse data and provide insights to improve engagement and reach
- Prepare regular reports on digital performance and campaign effectiveness
- Support SEO optimization for digital platforms
- Ensure content is structured and optimised for search visibility
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience within large corporates (industrial, logistics, energy), government, or digital agencies
- Proven experience managing digital platforms, including social media, websites, and intranet systems
- Experience in content publishing, performance tracking, and digital optimisation
