Zapegg Tax Consultant is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team in **Dubai**.
This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional who can ensure smooth functioning of desktop systems, provide timely technical support, and maintain IT infrastructure within a fast-paced consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot system errors and resolve user-related IT problems.
- Manage operating system installations, updates, and patches.
- Configure and manage user accounts, email setups, and access permissions.
- Ensure data backup and system security protocols are followed.
- Maintain IT inventory and update asset management records.
- Coordinate with network and system administrators for issue resolution.
- Provide user training and support for IT tools and applications.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hardware maintenance and software installations.
- Experience with antivirus systems and data backup solutions.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
