Ensure design excellence, commercial control, interdisciplinary integration, and project accountability.
Design management and leadership
- Plan and deliver projects within approved time, fee, and quality parameters.
- Monitor fee utilisation, scope changes, resource plans, deliverables, risks, and change-control actions.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary Landscape, Irrigation, BIM, Visualisation, CAD, and Environmental specialists.
- Implement QA/QC and peer-review procedures at each design gateway.
- Coordinate civil, MEP, infrastructure, architecture, structure, and interior design requirements.
- Maintain meeting minutes, design-change logs, coordination trackers, and risk registers.
Technical delivery
- Oversee design delivery plans, reports, drawings, hardscape and softscape packages, irrigation and grading plans, planting strategies, sustainability narratives, and material schedules.
- Ensure tender and IFC documentation aligns with applicable authority standards, including RCRC, MOMRA, SBC, and DM requirements.
- Lead BIM integration using Revit LA, Civil 3D, and Navisworks, including model coordination and LOD compliance.
- Review sub-consultant deliverables and coordinate technical interfaces across disciplines.
- Support specifications, BOQs, cost schedules, value engineering, tender evaluation, and site support.
Communication and operations
- Lead client presentations, design workshops, coordination reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Translate complex technical information into clear visual and verbal narratives.
- Report schedules, deliverables, resource allocation, programme status, and risks to management.
- Support internal standards, templates, digital workflows, knowledge sharing, CPD, and the Landscape Skills Framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognised university is required.
- Professional accreditation or eligibility such as CMLI, ASLA, or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 15 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in GCC design management, is required.
- Experience managing large-scale public-realm projects and knowledge of regional authority codes are required.
- Proficiency in Revit LA, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and BIM 360 is required.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required; Arabic is applicable where relevant.
