Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of buildings and construction projects for compliance with the Saudi Building Code and approved specifications.
• Analyze architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate building materials, construction methodologies, and structural integrity.
• Document findings, observations, and non-conformances in detailed reports.
• Identify code violations, safety hazards, and other non-compliance issues.
• Verify construction practices against approved permits, licenses, and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers on corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection, reporting, and correspondence records.
• Stay current with Saudi Arabian building codes and construction standards.
• Provide recommendations for remediation and improvements.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as an Architectural Inspector or in a similar construction or consultancy inspection role.
• In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and local construction standards and regulations.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and structural integrity assessment.
• Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and data organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex architectural and structural assessments.
• Proficiency with CAD software and digital inspection tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building materials, and construction methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection assignments simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with inspection management systems and digital documentation platforms.
• Knowledge of international building standards and best practices.
• Project management experience in construction or related fields.
