Position Overview
The position is for Light Truck / Delivery Drivers operating 3–5 ton trucks.
The role handles delivery and transportation of goods across Dubai and other areas of the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles ranging from 3 to 5 tons.
- Deliver goods to customers, stores, warehouses, and designated locations on time.
- Load and unload goods safely and secure them for transportation.
- Check invoices, delivery notes, and other documents and obtain customer acknowledgements when required.
- Plan routes and use GPS or navigation systems effectively.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report mechanical or safety issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
- Follow UAE traffic laws, company safety procedures, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain delivery records and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the operations team.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid UAE driving licence suitable for the vehicle category.
- At least two years of UAE experience driving 3–5 ton trucks.
- Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads and routes.
- Experience loading and unloading goods.
- Basic English communication skills and ability to read delivery notes.
