Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring high performance, security, and availability across critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Ensure High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) configurations
- Perform backups, restores, and recovery operations
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance
- Execute database upgrades, migrations, and patching
- Implement database standards, security, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business applications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in database administration
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong experience in HA/DR and clustering
- Proven expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure) are a plus
- Oracle database knowledge is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills
