The role focuses on data engineering leadership, data architecture, innovation, and delivery of high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the data engineering team.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures.
- Align data solutions with business needs through cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across platforms.
- Oversee data integration, ETL, and data warehousing solutions.
- Mentor data engineers and analysts.
- Optimize systems for performance and cost efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and adopt relevant techniques and tools.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience managing data engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
- In-depth knowledge of data integration, ETL, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Data management or cloud computing certifications are desirable.
- Ability to work in an on-site, collaborative team environment.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
