About the Role
Rawaj - Human Capital Management is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager for a leading Saudi holding company driving large-scale EPC telecom infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead the project cost accounting function across multiple telecom infrastructure and EPC projects.
- Manage the complete project cost accounting lifecycle from setup to close out and financial reconciliation.
- Monitor project budgets, actual costs, commitments, and cost variances.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive project cost reports highlighting financial performance and risks.
- Perform project profitability analysis, gross margin analysis, and cost to complete forecasting.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance teams for accurate cost capture.
- Ensure proper allocation of direct and indirect project costs in accordance with accounting policies and IFRS.
- Review project contracts and support revenue recognition, WIP, accrued costs, and billing activities.
- Support project budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX planning, and cash flow forecasting.
- Monitor subcontractor costs, purchase orders, variations, change orders, and project commitments.
- Develop and enhance project costing models, reporting dashboards, and financial analysis tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, IFRS, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, or equivalent highly preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Cost Accounting, Project Accounting, or Project Finance.
- Strong experience within telecom, EPC, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or project based organizations.
- Proven experience managing complete project cost accounting lifecycle from initiation through close out.
- Strong expertise in project budgeting, forecasting, cost control, WIP, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.
- Experience preparing executive level project cost reports and financial dashboards.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, project accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong hands on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling, Power Query, PivotTables, and reporting automation.
