Responsibilities
- Administer and manage all project contracts, including main contracts, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, project specifications, and UAE construction regulations
- Review, negotiate, and interpret contract conditions to mitigate commercial and legal risks
- Manage contract correspondence, notices, and contractual documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Evaluate, prepare, negotiate, and administer variation orders, extension of time (EOT) requests, and contractual claims
- Review and certify contractor and subcontractor payment applications in accordance with contract terms
- Monitor project costs, contract budgets, and financial commitments to ensure commercial control
- Support project teams with contractual advice and commercial guidance during project execution
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, legal advisors, and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues
- Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies to protect project profitability
- Maintain accurate contract records, reports, and project documentation
- Assist in dispute avoidance and resolution through effective contract administration
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in contract management, commercial management, or quantity surveying within the construction industry
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction contract practices
- Fluency in English (Turkish preferred)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in contract and commercial management within the construction industry.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a Contract Manager or similar role is a must.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction contract practices.
- Experience in contract administration, claims management, cost control, and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent understanding of construction procurement processes and subcontract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, contract management systems, and commercial reporting tools.
- Professional certification such as MRICS, MCIArb, PMP, or equivalent is an advantage.
