Purpose
Administer and manage upstream oil and gas contracts to ensure contractual compliance, commercial protection, and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer drilling, well services, EPC, operations, maintenance, and consultancy contracts.
- Monitor contractor performance, deliverables, and compliance with contract terms.
- Review and process variations, change orders, claims, and extensions of time.
- Support tendering activities, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain contract records, correspondence, and contractual documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Project teams.
- Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
- Assist in dispute resolution and contract closeout activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of contract administration experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Strong experience with drilling, production, EPC, and field operations contracts.
- Knowledge of contract management, claims, and commercial negotiations.
Skills
- Strong contract administration and commercial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of FIDIC and oil and gas contract forms.
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or a similar contract management system.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
