Civil Draftsman

is responsible for preparing, developing, coordinating, revising, and maintaining accurate civil engineering drawings and digital models using CAD, BIM, and other relevant design software.

The position supports engineers and project teams by converting design information into detailed construction, shop, coordination, and as-built drawings while ensuring compliance with project standards, specifications, and applicable requirements.

• Prepare accurate

2D civil engineering drawings

using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

• Convert engineers' sketches, designs, calculations, and markups into detailed digital drawings.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, profiles, details, and layouts.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, dimensions, levels, coordinates, scales, and annotations.
• Develop and maintain

3D civil/BIM models

using Revit, Civil 3D, or other applicable software.

• Model civil elements such as roads, surfaces, grading, drainage, utilities, and structures where required.
• Generate plans, sections, profiles, schedules, and details from digital models.
• Follow project BIM standards, templates, naming conventions, and modelling requirements.
• Prepare detailed

civil/construction shop drawings

based on approved design drawings.

• Incorporate engineers' instructions, consultant comments, and approved changes.
• Provide necessary dimensions, levels, sections, construction details, and material information.
• Revise and reissue drawings as required.
• Coordinate civil drawings with

architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, and infrastructure drawings

.

• Identify conflicts between civil works and other disciplines.
• Update drawings/models based on coordination meetings and approved solutions.
• Ensure interfaces between different disciplines are properly represented.
