Role Overview
The Continuous Improvement Manager drives Lean Design and Construction excellence across civil projects.
The role supports preconstruction, design, and construction teams in improving planning reliability and collaborative project delivery.
The position develops project-specific improvement strategies and enables high-performing teams from early planning through execution.
Responsibilities
- Integrate Lean methods into proposals, validation, scoping, partner development, and project alignment.
- Use the Last Planner System for design coordination, work planning, packaging, and tender planning.
- Build cross-functional teams across estimating, scheduling, budgeting, bid packages, and construction readiness.
- Coach teams, identify waste, establish productivity measures, and strengthen continuous improvement.
- Lead change, resolve issues, align stakeholders, and implement improvement plans with operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- At least five years of Last Planner System deployment experience in civil design or engineering environments.
- Proven experience implementing Lean Design and Construction methods on projects.
