Role Overview
The role is a Commis 1 position supporting pastry and bakery operations within a luxury hospitality and lifestyle group.
The position requires disciplined, precise, and collaborative work focused on kitchen output and service quality.
Compensation
- The position offers a fixed monthly salary of AED 1,400.
Experience and Qualifications
- A proven track record as a Commis 1 or in a similar role is required.
- Experience in a luxury hotel environment or fine-dining restaurant is required.
- A culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Pre-opening experience in setting up dynamic, seamless, and fast-paced kitchen operations is advantageous.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Exceptional time management and multitasking skills are required.
- A positive can-do attitude under pressure is expected.
- Strong interpersonal skills are needed to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP principles and practices is required.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and restaurant operations is required.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a creative FIVE-styled menu.
- Ensure each dish is hand-crafted to the required quality standard.
- Foster collaboration among the culinary team.
