- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff
- Prepare duty rosters, work schedules, and staff assignments
- Monitor cleaning standards and conduct regular inspections of assigned areas
- Train new cleaners on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety practices
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning materials and equipment
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with relevant departments for repairs
- Manage attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters of cleaning staff
- Ensure proper use, storage, and handling of chemicals and cleaning products
- Respond promptly to client complaints and service requests
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of cleaning personnel when required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility management
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, reporting)
