Role Overview
The employer is seeking a senior finance professional with strong insurance-sector experience and knowledge of the UAE market.
The role requires a proven track record leading financial functions at senior management level.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the insurance industry.
- Senior finance leadership experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, ACA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE insurance regulations and financial requirements is required.
- Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills are required.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and corporate governance is required.
- Ten years of CFO experience and ten years of insurance-company experience are preferred.
- Arabic language proficiency is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the company's overall financial strategy and operations.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
