Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate, jointly with DGPER, the implementation of all project activities
- Facilitate, jointly with DGPER, the implementation of the ATE program

- Ensure proper organization of actions and quality of activities and results
- Support the preparation of various required reports, including those related to program implementation
- Accompany policy dialogue around budget support
- Establish regular relations with the EU Delegation in Cotonou
- Ensure good visibility of the project
- Set up, jointly with DGPER, planning, monitoring and evaluation tools for the program
Requirements
- University degree at Bac+5 level or equivalent in energy, electrical engineering, engineering sciences, social sciences, economics, management, environmental sciences, or related discipline
- At least 12 years of experience in the energy sector
- At least 7 years of experience in sub Saharan Africa
- Solid experience as team leader of technical assistance missions in the energy sector
- Experience in capacity building of institutional actors in the energy sector
- Good knowledge of green financing instruments
- Excellent command of French (oral and written) and good knowledge of English

Project Overview
- NTU International is preparing an offer for the EU funded project 'Technical Assistance to the Energy Transition Support Program in Benin (ATE)'.
- Objective: accelerate energy transition in Benin, including reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
- Technical assistance will support implementation of ATE program, sector policy dialogue, governance, financing mechanisms, energy access, energy efficiency, and renewable energy development.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate, jointly with DGPER, implementation of all project activities.
- Facilitate, jointly with DGPER, implementation of ATE program.
- Define, jointly with DGPER, work program and task content.
- Plan and organize recruitment and missions of non key experts.
- Ensure proper organization of actions and quality of activities and results.
- Support preparation of various required reports.
- Accompany policy dialogue around budget support.
- Establish regular relations with EU Delegation in Cotonou.
- Ensure good visibility of the project.
- Set up planning, monitoring and evaluation tools jointly with DGPER.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree at Bac+5 level or equivalent in energy, electrical engineering, engineering sciences, social sciences, economics, management, environmental sciences, or related discipline.
- Proficiency in computer tools (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and other program related software).
General Professional Experience
- At least 12 years in the energy sector, including at least 7 years in sub Saharan Africa.
- Solid experience as team leader of technical assistance missions in the energy sector.
- Participation in formulation or implementation of EU or other partner budget support is an asset.
- Solid experience in capacity building of institutional actors in the energy sector.
Specific Professional Experience
- Good knowledge of green financing instruments.
Languages
- Excellent command of French (oral and written) and good knowledge of English.
