Responsibilities
- Support the development of policies, strategies, and programs related to renewable energy
- Provide technical assistance on solar, hybrid, biomass, and other renewable energy projects
- Contribute to the preparation and evaluation of renewable energy and sustainable electrification projects
- Support technical, economic, and institutional studies related to energy investments
- Advise beneficiary institutions on mechanisms to integrate renewable energy into the national energy mix
- Support the development of regulatory and technical frameworks for renewable infrastructure
- Participate in dialogue with investors, private developers, and technical/financial partners
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documents, sector reports, and strategic recommendations
- Participate in capacity building activities for energy sector institutions
- Contribute to monitoring indicators and results related to renewable energy development
Requirements
- Master's degree (BAC+5) in energy, electrical engineering, renewable energy, energy engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the energy sector
- Minimum 7 years of experience in renewable energy project development or management
- Proven experience in solar PV, mini grids, hybrid systems, or off grid solutions
- Good knowledge of regulatory and technical frameworks in the energy sector
- Experience in feasibility studies, techno economic analysis, or project structuring
- Experience working on programs funded by EU, World Bank, AfDB, AFD, GIZ, or other international donors
- Excellent command of French (C1 minimum); good knowledge of professional English is an asset
- Experience in Sub Saharan Africa, especially West Africa, strongly desired

Overview
- NTU International prepares an offer for the EU funded project 'Technical Assistance to the Energy Transition Support Program in Benin (ATE)', aiming to accelerate energy transition through renewable energy development, improved electricity access, and sustainable energy solutions.
Principales responsabilités
- Appuyer le développement des politiques, stratégies et programmes liés aux énergies renouvelables;
- Fournir une assistance technique sur les projets solaires, hybrides, biomasse et autres solutions énergétiques renouvelables;
- Contribuer à la préparation et à l’évaluation de projets d’énergies renouvelables et d’électrification durable;
- Appuyer les études techniques, économiques et institutionnelles relatives aux investissements énergétiques;
- Conseiller les institutions bénéficiaires sur les mécanismes favorisant l’intégration des énergies renouvelables dans le mix énergétique national;
- Soutenir le développement des cadres réglementaires et techniques applicables aux infrastructures renouvelables;
- Participer au dialogue avec les investisseurs, développeurs privés et partenaires techniques et financiers;
- Contribuer à l’élaboration de documents techniques, rapports sectoriels et recommandations stratégiques;
- Participer aux activités de renforcement des capacités des institutions du secteur énergétique;
- Contribuer au suivi des indicateurs et des résultats liés au développement des énergies renouvelables.
Formation et expérience
- Diplôme universitaire de niveau Master (BAC+5) en énergie, ingénierie électrique, énergies renouvelables, génie énergétique ou tout autre domaine pertinent.
- Minimum 10 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans le secteur de l’énergie;
- Expérience confirmée dans les projets d’énergies renouvelables ou d’électrification;
- Expérience de travail sur des programmes financés par l’Union européenne, la Banque mondiale, la BAD, l’AFD, la GIZ ou d’autres bailleurs internationaux.
- Minimum 7 ans d’expérience dans le développement ou la gestion de projets d’énergies renouvelables;
- Expérience avérée dans les technologies solaires photovoltaïques, mini réseaux, systèmes hybrides ou solutions hors réseau;
- Bonne connaissance des cadres réglementaires et techniques du secteur énergétique;
- Expérience dans les études de faisabilité, analyses technico économiques ou structuration de projets énergétiques;
- Expérience en Afrique subsaharienne, notamment en Afrique de l’Ouest, fortement souhaitée;
- Une expérience au Bénin ou dans la région CEDEAO constitue un avantage.
Langues
- Excellente maîtrise du français oral et écrit (C1 minimum);
- Bonne connaissance de l’anglais professionnel constitue un atout.
