About the Role

- Support the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global category leader
- Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew price lists and terms and conditions
- Run benchmark studies for the Category team and for specific sourcing initiatives
- Create local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains frame contracts
- Analyse target region, category Spending by Division and by supplier
- Implement cost reduction plan and category strategy aligned with category manager
- Ensure that ABB’s sourcing methodology is applied in a meaningful and pragmatic manner
Requirements
- University Degree in related field
- Working in manufacture plant before, Understand working process 3 5 years
- Understand indirect material & services
- Wide range knowhow in Supplier Management
- Familiar with ERP, eP, SAP Ariba
- Familiar with AMEA countries culture and business practice a plus
- Fluent in English, second or third language skill a plus

Your Role And Responsibilities
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to support regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global Category Manager or independently if under a defined threshold.
- Each day, you will purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.
- You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
