Cash Management Analyst

Role Purpose

Business and Domain Exposure

• Domestic wholesale banking in Qatar, cash management and payments, trade finance and trade services.
• Supply chain finance, virtual accounts, liquidity management, corporate and commercial banking, and transaction banking analytics.
• Digital trade and cash platforms and front-to-back trade process digitization.

Business and Fee Analysis

• Analyze corporate and trading client transaction flows for cash and trade fee opportunities.
• Identify wallet share gaps, underused products, revenue leakage, and product penetration opportunities.
• Contribute to fee-performance reporting and dashboards.

Requirements and Solution Design

• Collect and document business requirements for cash management and trade finance solutions.
• Translate client and business needs into functional specifications.
• Map end-to-end trade and cash processes from initiation through settlement.
• Support solution design for payments, collections, liquidity, virtual accounts, letters of credit, guarantees, collections, supply chain finance, and working capital structures.
• Support pre-shipment and post-shipment financing solutions.

Digital Transformation and Delivery

• Support digitization of front-to-back trade workflows and cash processes.
• Assist with digital trade platform and cash management system implementation.
• Contribute to automation of documentation, approvals, and reconciliation.
• Participate in trade journey simplification and platform enhancement initiatives.
• Support implementation, UAT, issue tracking, resolution, client onboarding, and migration from manual to digital processes.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate business, GTB product, operations, and IT stakeholders.
• Support Relationship Managers and Business Leads in client discussions and RFP responses.
• Ensure alignment of requirements and delivery timelines.

Process Improvement and Analytics

• Identify efficiency improvements in trade and cash operations.
• Support process re-engineering for faster turnaround and less manual intervention.
• Provide insights on transaction trends, product usage, and client behavior.

Experience and Profile

• 7–10 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience in trade finance, cash management, transaction banking operations, or business analyst roles.
• Corporate or wholesale banking experience in Qatar is preferred.
• Digital banking or transformation project experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of cash management and trade finance products.
• Ability to map and analyze end-to-end transaction banking processes.
• Experience writing functional specifications and business requirement documents.
• Familiarity with supply chain finance, virtual accounts, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Based in Qatar.
