Position Purpose

Sephora KSA is recruiting a KSA Care Trainer, based in Sephora University (Riyadh or Jeddah).

The main responsibility of this role is to support Skincare and Haircare learning and development of the KSA store team through the implementation of regional training initiatives, training delivery, in-store coaching and assessment (approx. 50% of time).

The KSA Care Trainer is based in one of the two main KSA regions and is responsible for all initiatives within own region.

The role includes the management of the KSA Care Education Expert, based in the other region of KSA and for which it will require development, supervision, follow-up and feedback.

Other tasks will include delivery of Sephora University Skincare and Haircare training modules (in-class and digital) in own region, collaboration with OGCC Sephora University team for identical and seamless execution, being involved in brand training organization and some admin tasks.

The role requires strong collaboration with Retail & Store Managers to support the learning and development of the store team.

The KSA Care Trainer will also support cross-functional events (with Marketing/PR and HR).

This is a national role that will require travel within own region, KSA and Middle East countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching & Support at store level
  • Visit Sephora stores on a weekly basis to support with follow up, coaching and assessment.
  • Develop Skincare and Haircare knowledge and skills of the store team through feedback and coaching on conversation, selling speech, Sephora Attitude and new product launches.
  • Partner with Retail & Store Managers to share and align on feedback, development plan and follow-up actions through meetings and reports.
  • Lead talent development, following the internal process, for own region and oversee for other region, by ensuring the KSA Care Education Expert is following the process.
  • **Skincare and Haircare Education**
  • Manage the overall KSA Skincare and Haircare training plan, calendar and budget – to be managed for own region and worked collaboratively with the KSA Care Education Expert for the other region.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of all Skincare and Haircare initiatives at country level – including alignment on KSA specific needs, communication to stakeholders, follow up and gathering feedback.
  • Deliver our Sephora University Skincare and Haircare training modules (in-class and digital in own region.
  • In charge of ensuring the KSA Care Education Expert is equipped to deliver training modules in own region (from TTT, delivery’s observations and feedback)
  • Lead the development of the KSA Skincare Community (including monthly engagement, organization of Experts’ events, feedback on performance, etc....)
  • Accountable to increase Skincare and Haircare expertise in KSA by teaching about conversation, category knowledge, trends, use of devices, selling techniques, cross category and product knowledge.
  • Track development, progress and learning of the store team.
  • Follow-up and support engagement of the store team with our digital Sephora Learning App.
  • Skincare and Haircare Brand Training in KSA
  • Organize yearly Skincare and Haircare Education events (Community, Brand Conventions…).
  • Support in delivering content of multi-brand trainings organized internally.
  • Support Skincare and Haircare brands digital training.
  • Support organization and monitoring of skincare and Haircare Masterclass training with involved brands.
  • Manage admin tasks related to Skincare and Haircare brand trainings (digital trainings, attendee lists, testers’ requests…).
  • Collaboration & Communication with business partners
  • Store & Retail Management – share feedback, align on business, priorities & support needed at store level.
  • OGCC SU team – collaboration, exchange of best practices and learning from each other’s
  • HR – support in providing feedback on the store Skincare team and for HR-organized events
  • Skincare and Haircare Offer team – tight collaboration at all times to align on priorities & needs
  • Marketing/PR – participate in events, acting as a true Sephora Ambassador

  • Training and coaching experience – being in a retail training role for 3+ years
  • Advanced Skincare and Haircare knowledge
  • Has proven records of coaching and developing team members
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Locally mobile (will travel within KSA on regular basis) and able to travel regionally (within KSA and other Middle East countries)
  • Collaborative, flexible, adaptable, resilient, open to feedback and self-motivated
