Responsibilities
- Manage payroll preparation, checking, and processing for all employees in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain
- Advise HRD and HRBPs on compensation decisions based on internal and external benchmarks
- Develop and manage benefit schemes across the region including insurances, company cars, and share schemes
- Prepare annual salary review process in HRIS and coordinate presentation summaries
- Partner with finance on payroll reconciliations, provisioning, and budget tracking
- Monitor headcount, update social data, and ensure high quality reporting
- Ensure compliance with regional labor law changes and improve payroll processes
- Participate in C&B community and represent region in Group led projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources or related field
- Proven experience in managing payroll in the Middle East region
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
- Experience in managing external benchmarking exercises, job classification, and C&B projects
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Overview
- As a compensation, benefits + payroll specialist/manager you are responsible for payroll management across all countries of the region.
- You supervise the external payroll provider to execute seamless monthly payroll conducting thorough compliance checks.
- The position operates as an independent contributor.
Compensation & Benefits
- Advise and support HRD and HRBPs in their compensation decisions based on internal and external benchmarks.
- Conduct specific studies and participate in external compensation surveys.
- Prepare the annual salary review process in the HRIS and coordinate presentation summaries.
- Develop and manage benefit schemes across the region (insurances, company cars, share schemes).
- Ensure proper payments of pension plans, end of service calculations with finance.
- Stay informed about latest trends and legal changes impacting C&B.
- Implement measures to ensure understanding of policy and remuneration components.
- Partner with recruitment manager on mobility cases to propose remuneration packages.
Payroll
- Manage payroll preparation, checking, and processing for all employees in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
- Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliations and provisioning of payroll costs.
- Oversee handling of queries from external agencies (tax, social security, auditors).
- Prepare and consolidate annual salary review files.
- Ensure all employees receive a monthly pay slip.
- Support Retail Excellence on commission schemes and execute monthly commission calculations.
- Improve payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor law changes.
HR Data Management
- Monitor headcount, update social data, and ensure high quality reporting.
- Coordinate campaigns for budget approvals for HC in collaboration with finance.
- Prepare in audits with HR and Finance as required.
- Ensure jobs are correctly linked to job catalogue in HRIS and audit data frequently.
- Identify areas for improvement in job catalogue and propose enhancements.
Budget and Compliance
- Collaborate with HRD and HRBP to prepare and follow up detailed budget of HR costs.
- Partner with finance for regular budget tracking.
- Partner with HR Admin Manager for annual CSRD reporting.
Adhoc Projects
- Actively participate in C&B community of Europe & Middle East and Hermès Group.
- Represent HME region in Group led projects and ensure local roll out.
- Collaborate on payroll and leave management automation project throughout 2026 2027.

Experience
