FCT is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow sales, develop customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities.

How You’ll Contribute
- Develop and maintain relationships with target audiences to grow sales and identify new business opportunities.
- Grow business and exceed targets from unknown, underperforming, or underpenetrated accounts while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Complete weekly face-to-face sales calls and log appointments, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM database.
- Develop sales strategy with the Sales Leader and participate in training, coaching, and learning opportunities.
- Review market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; scan for new opportunities and adapt strategies to economic conditions.
- Maintain product knowledge, answer customer questions, monitor competitors, and share market information.
- Support customers by providing guidance, investigating problems, and assisting with solutions.
- Control expenses, share best practices, and collaborate with internal partners to identify creative business opportunities.
Here’s What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of five years of sales experience is required.
- A minimum of eight years of legal and/or commercial real estate experience is required.
- A post-secondary degree in legal studies, business, or a related field is required.
- The role requires customer focus, prospecting, lead generation, account management, and sales-target achievement.
- Exceptional presentation skills, initiative, communication, time management, and computer skills are required.
- Business-to-business sales experience and a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships are required.
- Candidates must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Provincial licensing may be required to sell FCT products and services.
Total Direct Compensation
- The stated total direct compensation range is $95,300 to $145,300 CAD, including base pay and any applicable incentives or allowances.
