Business Analyst

Role Purpose

Business Domain and Experience

• Relevant domains include client coverage and relationship management, corporate and institutional banking, sales governance, operating models, client segmentation, and coverage frameworks.
• Additional domains include revenue optimization, cross-sell, organizational transformation, business process design, and subsidiary integration.
• Requires 7–10 years of experience in banking, coverage, business analysis, strategy, or transformation roles.
• Experience supporting operating model, sales effectiveness, or organizational transformation initiatives is required.
• Exposure to corporate banking, institutional banking, or transaction banking environments is preferred.

Profile

• Strong understanding of banking coverage models and client management frameworks.
• Knowledge of GTB, GSF, GM, GAM, and FAM products and business models.
• Experience in business analysis, process mapping, and operating model design.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in transformation, governance, and performance management initiatives.
• Advanced presentation and communication skills for engaging multiple stakeholder groups.

Business Analysis and Design

• Assess existing coverage models, client ownership structures, and sales processes.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze client portfolios, coverage allocation, and revenue contribution.
• Gather and document business requirements from Coverage, RM, Product, and subsidiary stakeholders.
• Develop epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in JIRA or similar tools.
• Support target coverage model, governance structure, and engagement framework design.
• Develop process maps, operating model documentation, and functional requirements.

Coordination and Analytics

• Act as liaison between business lines, coverage teams, and support functions.
• Support workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions, and validate requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop coverage analytics and performance dashboards.
• Analyze wallet share, client penetration, cross-sell performance, and coverage effectiveness.
• Support KPI design, performance tracking, and data mapping activities.
• Understand wholesale banking data flows and data architecture.

Transformation and Implementation

• Support rollout of new coverage models and governance structures.
• Assist with change management, communications, and training activities.
• Track implementation progress and benefit realization.

Tools

• JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, and Figma are listed as role tools.
