Role Overview
Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure in accordance with hotel service standards.
Provide courteous, efficient support that promotes guest satisfaction and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome arriving guests and deliver their luggage to rooms efficiently and promptly.
- Load and unload baggage from vehicles and record it in log control sheets.
- Escort guests to rooms and explain hotel services, facilities, and emergency exits.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel products, services, and relevant tourist and business travel information.
- Handle guest requests politely, refer them to relevant staff when needed, and follow up.
- Collect luggage from rooms and keep it secure until guest departure.
- Maintain visibility in the lobby and offer assistance to guests carrying luggage.
- Store guest luggage on request and handle all luggage with care.
- Keep the luggage storage room and luggage trolleys clean and tidy.
- Address guests by name whenever possible and maintain friendly, caring conversations where appropriate.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a Bellman in hospitality.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
