Job Description

  • Cat Technology collaborates with partners across the Caterpillar enterprise to advance technologies including autonomy and automation.
  • As the Autonomy Designer (Scrum Master), you will collaborate with multiple Agile teams and leaders, supporting the successful delivery of MineStar products and solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support and prepare teams for Program Increment Planning.
  • Identify, track, and resolve blockers.
  • Coach the team on Agile principles and foster self organization.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum framework.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog refinement.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between team members and stakeholders.
  • Protect the team from external distractions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading retrospectives.
  • Identify delivery risks and manage cross team dependencies.
  • Monitor progress using delivery metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Agile Metrics and Continuous Improvement
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Experience working within SAFe Agile Release Trains supporting software, embedded software, autonomy, or digital product development teams.
  • Experience facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning events and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Experience coaching Product Owners and development teams in Agile best practices.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience using Agile management tools such as Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience tracking Agile delivery metrics and reporting team performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Lean product development principles.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering, software development, or embedded software environments.
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed and cross functional teams.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Summary Pay Range

  • CAD 96,260.00 CAD 120,320.00
