About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) seeks an Associate Manager for Financial Planning & Reporting to manage consolidation and reporting of financials for assigned areas.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and internal controls for financial planning and reporting
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of existing policies, processes and procedures
- Ensure all reportees have clear objectives and regular performance monitoring and feedback sessions
- Provide on the job training and constructive feedback to subordinates
- Supervise day to day function of financial planning & reporting sections
- Oversee development and administration of Business Planning and Controlling (BPC) system
- Review plant's annual plans and budgets and provide recommendations
- Evaluate business requirements and manage consolidation of assigned area's budget
- Monitor/control expenditure to facilitate operations and achieve financial performance
- Monitor and report financial performance versus budgets
- Manage consolidation of financial plans and financial forecasts for assigned area
- Manage development of quarterly forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheets & Cash flow)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or equivalent
- Professional qualifications (CIA, ACCA, ACA, CMS, CIMA or equivalent) highly recommended
- 4 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis role in a large environment, preferably in manufacturing, metal, or mining industry
- Experience of managing a team and ability to interact with large group involving different nationals
- Team management skills
- Relationship management
- In depth knowledge of the aluminium manufacturing sector and EGA's products and business strategies recommended
- Knowledge of statutory and internal financial management standards
- Knowledge of financial policies and procedures
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of industrial best practices, laws/regulations
- Management reporting

Job Purpose
- To manage consolidation and reporting of financials for the assigned area in order to support effective decision making for achievement of objectives and to ensure financial statements and transactions are in compliance with EGA's policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and international f
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and internal controls covering the assigned areas of the financial planning and reporting function.
- Contribute towards the continuous improvement of existing policies, processes and procedures by collating inputs from team, identifying and recommending improvements.
- Ensure all reportees have clear objectives and regular performance monitoring and feedback sessions.
- Provide on the job training and constructive feedback to all subordinates.
- Supervise the day to day function of financial planning & reporting sections.
- Oversee the development and administration of Business Planning and Controlling (BPC) system.
- Review plant's annual plans and budgets produced by departments and area analysts and provide recommendations.
- Evaluate business requirements and manage the consolidation of the assigned area's budget in line with business plans.
- Monitor/control expenditure to facilitate operations of the area by controlling costs.
- Monitor and report the financial performance versus budgets.
- Manage the consolidation of financial plans and financial forecasts for the assigned area.
- Manage the development of quarterly forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheets & Cash flow).
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or equivalent.
