Job Summary

The role functions as a technical specialist under general supervision and builds deeper knowledge through larger and more complex assignments.

The position may expand into other engineering disciplines or functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the design and drafting group and ensure quality and timely completion within established man-hour budgets.
Assist with project execution strategy, team activity allocation, technical problem solving, and information flow.
Provide technical assistance on drawing and specification discrepancies and train assigned personnel.
Review comments and ensure they are consistently incorporated into drawings under applicable procedures.
Prepare general notes, typical piping details, plot plans, and scope layout studies.
Support 3D model quality and participate in internal and client model reviews.
Coordinate MTO activities and monitor progress throughout the project.

Minimum Qualifications

6-10 years or more of mandatory experience in piping and layout design.
Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
At least 1 year of related work experience is also stated as a minimum qualification.
Selected applicants may need to complete applicable pre-employment onboarding checks.
