Role overview

Experience and qualifications

• A minimum of three years as a Floor Supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Computer literacy and mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
• Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems is required.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations, food hygiene, and restaurant operations is required.

Professional skills

• Experience achieving financial targets, managing budgets, and implementing cost controls is required.
• Strong organisational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail and ownership is expected.
• Ability to motivate and train a food and beverage team is required.

Restaurant operations

• Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and exceptional service delivery.
• Interact with guests, anticipate needs, resolve concerns, and exceed expectations.
• Oversee the dining area and designated service zones.
• Coordinate with the culinary team on food quality and presentation.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, food quality, and cleanliness standards.

Team and commercial performance

• Assist in recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating the restaurant team.
• Provide feedback, mentorship, and leadership that encourage growth and collaboration.
• Work with the Food and Beverage Manager and stakeholders on revenue strategies.
• Analyse sales, food and beverage costs, and labour costs to improve profitability.
• Support marketing initiatives, promotions, events, meetings, and training sessions.

Compensation

• The fixed monthly salary is AED 4,400.

Work location

• The position is based in Dubai and involves hands-on restaurant and dining-area operations.
