About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing construction projects.
The role requires knowledge of site execution, project coordination, contractors and vendors, manpower, materials, quality, safety, and project timelines.
Work Setting
- The role involves regular monitoring of construction sites and is field-based.
Project Planning and Execution
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans and monitor progress against the approved schedule.
- Identify delays, take corrective action, and coordinate multiple site activities.
Site and Team Management
- Monitor site activities against approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure manpower deployment, monitor productivity, resolve day-to-day execution issues, and conduct coordination meetings.
