Assistant Manager - Soft Services

Quality, Health and Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ensure staff use appropriate PPE and follow approved safe work procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.

Budget and Reporting

• Monitor budgets and operational costs and track cleaning materials, chemicals, equipment, and consumables.
• Review vendor performance and support procurement activities when required.
• Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and monthly client reports.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, complaints, corrective actions, KPIs, and SLAs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five to eight years of experience in soft services or facilities management operations.
• At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, healthcare, aviation, or commercial buildings is preferred.
• UAE or GCC experience and relevant professional certifications are advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning methodologies, chemicals, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Understanding of Health, Safety and Environment requirements.
• Strong client management, leadership, analytical, reporting, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
