- Manage and coordinate day to day operations of the General Insurance Division
- Handle new business placements, renewals, endorsements, and policy servicing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and underwriters in the UAE
- Negotiate quotations, terms, and coverage with insurers to achieve competitive solutions for clients
- Provide technical support and guidance to the sales and servicing teams
- Supervise and support team members to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery
- Ensure timely renewal follow ups and maintain client retention
- Review insurance requirements and recommend suitable coverage solutions
- Coordinate claims related support when required
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and insurance regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in General Insurance
- At least 1 2 years of supervisory or team handling experience
- Strong connections and working relationships with insurance companies in the UAE
- Thorough understanding of both new business and renewal processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently
- UAE insurance market exposure is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems
