Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Inventory Controller to support inventory accuracy, stock monitoring, and reporting across our retail and e-commerce operations.
Working closely with the warehouse, procurement, and operations teams, you will assist with inventory checks, stock reconciliations, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support day-to-day operations
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP and inventory management systems
- Monitor daily stock movements including sales, returns, transfers, and receipts
- Reconcile physical stock with system inventory and investigate discrepancies
- Report inventory variances, stock losses, and damaged or expired items
- Monitor stock levels and help coordinate restocking
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams
- Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and procedures
- Support other inventory and operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock control roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail; able to spot and investigate discrepancies quickly
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple stock movements and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for daily coordination with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset; able to flag issues and follow through without being prompted
