Role overview
Support the Department Manager in delivering exceptional food and service experiences.
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and operational support in a fast-paced fresh food environment.
Leadership and service
- Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service.
- Execute departmental strategies and performance objectives.
- Train, coach, motivate, and recognize team members.
- Lead regular huddles for goals, product knowledge, recognition, and feedback.
Food preparation and operations
- Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot and cold bar and grill stations.
- Support merchandising, product rotation, staffing coverage, and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll administration.
- Perform other related duties to support store operations.
Qualifications
- Complete a post-secondary program emphasizing Culinary Management.
- Have at least one year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
