Role Description
The AI Specialist – Construction Configuration role is full-time and on-site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The role designs, configures, and optimizes AI-driven tools and workflows for construction planning, resource allocation, and project monitoring.
The AI Specialist works with engineering, construction, and architecture teams to translate project requirements into data models, algorithms, and practical solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze construction data and develop and maintain AI models.
- Validate AI outputs through inspections and field feedback.
- Create documentation and training materials for end users.
- Coordinate with management to align AI initiatives with budgets, regulatory standards, and company objectives.
- Support decision-making and operational efficiency across construction projects.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in construction and architecture are required to understand project designs, site conditions, and configuration requirements.
- Budgeting skills are required for cost controls, resource planning, and project financial management.
- Inspection skills are required to validate AI outputs against site conditions, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Microsoft Office proficiency is required for analysis, reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Relevant experience in AI, data analytics, or digital construction tools such as BIM or project management software is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- AI education at bachelor’s or technology level is required.
Additional Skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly in English is required.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, safety, quality, and continuous improvement skills are expected.
- European or US onsite experience is highly preferable.
Workplace
- The position is based on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Candidates must be able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and relocate to the UAE.
