Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings and technical documents for roadworks and utility infrastructure.
Support quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and variation claims.
Provide technical support to site teams and liaise with consultants and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings and technical documents for roadworks and utility infrastructure.
- Support quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and variation claims.
- Provide technical support to site teams and liaise with consultants and clients.
- Resolve design and coordination issues.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; additional qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Project Management are an advantage.
- Strong technical skills in Shop Drawings preparation, review, and coordination for roads and infrastructure projects.
- Skills in BOQ development, quantity take-offs, and support for Quantity Surveying activities.
- Solid foundation in Civil Engineering, with practical experience in roadworks, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of Electrical Engineering aspects related to infrastructure (e.g., street lighting, underground utilities).
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and MS Office.
- Experience in UAE infrastructure projects and familiarity with local standards and authority requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an added benefit.
