Role Description
The Technical Office Engineer – Roads and Infrastructure is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role supports roads and infrastructure projects through technical documentation, quantity verification, coordination, and project reporting.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and review shop drawings, technical documents, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with design, site, and procurement teams.
- Verify quantities, support BOQ preparation and variation claims, and assist with quantity surveying.
- Analyze project plans, resolve technical issues, and support construction methodology and sequencing.
- Ensure road and infrastructure works meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation, support project reporting, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Strong Civil Engineering background with roads and infrastructure project experience.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and technical documentation.
- Practical experience with BOQs, quantity take-offs, and quantity surveying.
- Basic Electrical Engineering understanding or infrastructure coordination experience is required for related aspects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with UAE roads and infrastructure standards, codes, and specifications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate with project and site teams.
