About the Role
Snoonu is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of production-grade chatbot systems and agentic AI pipelines. You will architect conversational AI using AWS and Claude, build autonomous workflows for customer support and logistics, and mentor junior engineers.

- Own the end to end architecture of Snoonu's conversational AI and agentic automation platform
- Define engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices for AI system development
- Mentor and guide junior/mid level engineers; review code and provide technical feedback
- Lead the design and delivery of multi channel chatbots using AWS Lex, Bedrock, and API Gateway integrated with Claude or other LLMs
- Architect Agentic AI systems that encode Snoonu SOPs as autonomous, multi step workflows
- Design robust memory, context management, tool use, and guardrail layers for agents
- Design and own the cloud backbone for AI services: Lambda, ECS/Fargate, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and Bedrock
- Build CI/CD pipelines for prompt versioning, model rollout, A/B testing, and automated evals
- Lead frontier model evaluation and prototype next high leverage AI capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5–8 years of hands on software engineering experience
- At least 3 years focused on LLM based systems, conversational AI, or agentic architectures
- Demonstrated track record of owning and shipping production AI systems end to end
- Prior experience in a senior IC or tech lead role
- Strong Python and backend development skills (FastAPI / Flask preferred)
- Deep experience with Anthropic Claude via API and AWS Bedrock
- Familiarity with OpenAI GPT models and open weight models
- Experience with RAG: vector databases, embedding models, and hybrid search
- Experience with agentic frameworks: LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or AWS Bedrock Agents
- Strong understanding of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch
- Experience with event driven and serverless architectures

Overview
- We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join Snoonu's R&D team as a technical anchor for our conversational AI and agentic automation strategy.
- You will lead the design and delivery of production grade chatbot systems powered by AWS and frontier LLMs (Claude first), and architect Agentic AI pipelines that encode Snoonu's SOPs into autonomous, reliable workflows across customer support, order verification, and logistics.
What You’ll Get Your Hands On

The Magic You Bring

- Deep experience with Anthropic Claude (claude 3 / claude sonnet / claude opus) via API and AWS Bedrock.
- Familiarity with OpenAI GPT models and open weight models (LLaMA 3, Mistral, Phi).
- Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, pgvector), embedding models, and hybrid search.
- Agentic frameworks: LangChain / LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or AWS Bedrock Agents.
- AWS Services: Amazon Bedrock, Lex v2, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch.
- Experience with event driven and serverless architectures.
- Containerization: Docker; orchestration experience (ECS / EKS) is a plus.
