Position

  • We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company's financial operations and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and record all financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process supplier payments and maintain payment schedules.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
  • Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns accurately and within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
  • Maintain VAT records and support VAT audits when required.
  • Verify VAT treatment on invoices, expenses, and revenue.
  • Track all property sales transactions and commission structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE real estate industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA compliance.
  • Experience preparing Profit & Loss Statements and financial reports.
  • Experience managing real estate commission calculations and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, Odoo, or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UAE real estate accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of brokerage commission structures.
  • Experience with payroll processing and WPS.
  • Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

  • Accurate and timely VAT filing.
  • Timely preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Accurate commission calculations with minimal discrepancies.
  • Timely reconciliation of bank accounts and financial records.
  • Compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.
  • Accurate Profit & Loss reporting and financial analysis.
  • Timely processing of payments and collections.
