- Record and maintain day to day financial transactions accurately
- Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and general ledger postings

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience in VAT compliance and statutory reporting

Job Overview
- The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements, and supporting the organization's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain day to day financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and general ledger postings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of accounting experience (industry experience preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., FACTS ERP, SAP, Oracle, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in VAT compliance and statutory reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience in the construction, contracting, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
