Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and record daily transactions, journals, receipts, payments, and expenses.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
• Monitor receivables and coordinate payment follow-ups.
• Verify expenses and maintain authorized supporting documentation.
• Assist with VAT returns, tax documentation, audits, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate accounting queries with clients and internal teams.
• Maintain organized financial records and help resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure transactions comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting while protecting confidential information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous UAE Accountant experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and tax compliance is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar systems is preferred.
• Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills.
